Orthodontics, a branch of Dentistry, focuses on knowledge of tooth movement, craniofacial development and arch alignment. The orthodontist treats and prevents dental and skeletal irregularities (malocclusions). If orthodontic irregularities remain untreated, they can cause complications such as caries, gingival and periodontal problems, chewing difficulties, and abnormal wear of tooth surfaces.

In addition to health care, a beautiful smile has a huge impact on self-esteem and self-confidence. It also helps in rejuvenating the face, giving a new shape to the jaw, neck and lips.
