Artichokes in Water
Among the many preserves, our grandmothers also prepared artichokes in oil,
an excellent side dish or vegetable appetizer, always available on Italian sideboards and tables.
The processing of the Sicilian artichoke takes place in the traditional way,
peeled by hand and preserved in a liquid, called preserving liquid,
for the characteristics assigned to water, based on a scale dictated by the state.
Thanks to the preservation in liquid, the artichoke does not lose its compactness,
and its flavor, making it useful for any use you want, pizza,
dressing of sauces, aperitif, fried food, etc ...
The right wine to accompany can only be Graves blanc F or classic Soave.
The right serving temperature of 12 °.
